21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge

Combat systemic racism and inequality with the help of this great resource

I've had so many conversations recently about what can be done to fight back against the systemic racism and inequality in our country. While many of those discussions have felt fruitful, I’ve often walked away feeling unsure as to where to begin, and resultantly, done far less than I'd like. To combat this inaction, I've sought out guidance from friends, mentors, educators, and activists, and in doing so, stumbled across this FANTASTIC resource.

Dr. Eddie Moore, a diversity researcher, educator, and consultant, has created the 21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge based on the premise that we have to take small, consistent steps toward change if we want the shifts to last. The challenge encourages us to do one thing each day for three weeks that furthers our understanding of power, privilege, supremacy, oppression, and equity. The link below offers suggestions on ways to move forward with that process by reading, listening, watching, noticing, connecting, engaging, acting, reflecting, and staying inspired. The site also has a downloadable spreadsheet to keep track of progress.
