My name is Ben Lotstein, and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC) based out of Fort Collins, CO. I’ve had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples, and families for the past six years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I received my Master’s of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado State University. In addition to working in private practice, I have the honor of serving as the Associate Director of the Aging Clinic of the Rockies at Colorado State University. When I’m not in the office, you might find me out biking, spending time with my wife and dog, meditating, or watching a good movie.
My therapeutic approach stems from a place of deep compassion and understanding. I know what it’s like to be lost and confused, to feel a sense of drowning in my struggles. I know what it’s like to sense that I’m on the cusp of a breakthrough, but have no idea how to get there. I’ve experienced the weight of feeling trapped in a relationship that was more hurtful than helpful, watching my attempts to connect fall flat, time after time.
I’m incredibly grateful that I’ve also experienced the relief and growth that came from finding the right support. Through my own individual and couples therapy, I’ve been able to achieve clarity and healing, breaking through the previously impenetrable walls of my unhelpful patterns, reconnecting with ease and joy in my relationship.
I’m so glad that you’ve made your way here, and I’d love to connect to see how I can support you moving forward in your process.
